Job Summary
The Program Director is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and quality management of the agency's New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) Community-Based Supports (CBS) program. This position oversees program operations, staff performance, regulatory compliance, and service quality to ensure individuals receive person-centered, high-quality supports in accordance with NJ DDD regulations and agency standards. The Program Director collaborates with support coordinators, families, interdisciplinary teams, and agency leadership to promote positive outcomes, maintain compliance, and support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for the daily operations of the DDD Community-Based Supports (CBS) program.
- Ensure compliance with New Jersey DDD, Medicaid, HIPAA, and agency policies and procedures.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate supervisors, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and administrative staff.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff retention initiatives.
- Ensure staffing levels meet participant needs and program requirements.
- Review and monitor Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) to ensure services are delivered as authorized.
- Collaborate with Support Coordinators, families, guardians, behavioral specialists, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Oversee incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions, and required follow-up in accordance with DDD regulations.
- Monitor documentation, progress notes, EVV records, and service delivery to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in state licensing reviews, accreditation surveys, audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Prepare operational reports, performance metrics, and compliance documentation for executive leadership.
- Manage departmental budgets, productivity, and resource allocation.
- Resolve client, family, and employee concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop, implement, and update agency policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Foster a positive, person-centered culture that promotes dignity, independence, community inclusion, and high-quality services for individuals receiving supports.
- Participate in on-call management and provide operational support during emergencies or critical incidents as needed.
Compensation: $46,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
